Our Why
Girls are just as capable in mathematics as boys, yet across the world they consistently report lower confidence in their mathematical abilities. This confidence gap begins early and influences participation in class, academic choices, and whether girls envision themselves pursuing STEM careers in the future.
DIVA exists to address this challenge where it begins. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to develop confidence in mathematics and to see herself as someone who belongs in STEM.
